In the world, there is only one flower like you SMAP Many kinds of flowers lined up in front of the flower shop. There was no need to compare which is the best among them; So then why do our humans have to compare ourselves to one another? Yes, every one of us Mostly people are always unsure what they want and have to laugh puzzled. At last that person comes out of the store. I did not know his name but his smile made me happy that day; Yes, each of us Small flowers or big flowers, plant foodwhen i was watering the cotton plants this morning, L told me that i should use some fertilizer 'cause the plants had just been transplanted a few days ago.
i choosed the urea. as they said it's cheap and works very well. L is the hugest guy in our lab, warm-heart too. According to his words, like people need eat many times a day, the plants also need be fed frequently; but remember only a little food each time. that will help you away from fat and diseases, it will also help plants grow well and strong.
i was just wondering why he is still so fat?:D Just do it!~Y told us the manuscripte of our "gene delator" had finally been submitted to nature biotech. that work lasted for five years, OMG, it was finally ending now. let's hope good luck to us.
I was trying to write the paper about our 35S enhancer work. All the data and figures were ready to go, but i didn't have any chance and time to begin 'cause of the spring festival holiday and my illness(no excuse!).
I planned to finish my first draft this month.
The work is hard, time is tight, no one will look over your shoulder..

Nobuta wo Produce For promoting my Japanese, I often watch J-drama. 野ブタ。をプロデュース(Nobuta. wo Puroduusu, "Producing Nobuta") is a great TV drama in this fall season. It's a somewhat different from the other high school stories. Life in school, popularity vs. unpopularity, pure friendship between the friends who believe in each other is all the themes of this show. But it makes you to realize the deep and complicated human nature.
It looks like that it is a drama about two young men saving a girl who is weak and alienated, but it is actually about how to change a guy who lives in the world of vanity and is afraid to show his inner "self" to the rest of the world. Nobuta is a girl who looks freaky and has no self-confidence at all and being made fun of and bullied in school.
 Akira is a guy who loves his soy-milk so much and always looks drunk from it, he always looks so funny and stands with his special weird style(actually it looks so cute  ). No one takes him seriously, and just like Nobuta, Akira is an eccentric guy and a loner. Shuji, unlike Nobuta and Akira, is a popular guy in school and gets along with everyone…But but, in fact, Shuji is a negative and boring guy. He is just doing an act of facade to be liked by others and trying to survive the harsh of his high school life. In order to maintain his popularity, Shuji desperately warms up the air and pleases everyone around him. He lives by putting on a mask and changing his inner and outer "face" to the world. Shuji is just a symbolic representation of millions of typical people in our modern society. The school is just like our society, every society has its own rule. If you deviate from its rule or standards, you will be laughed at, looked down upon, and eventually nobody would come and talk to you face to face. You are labeled as "A person who can not read the air", “unpopular guy”. Whether or not you are "popular" or not in that society completely determines your whole identity, no matter how small that society is. It’s a hard rule.
We don’t dare to break the rule, and trend behaving the way supposed to. We are all cravens can’t face real human nature, can’t deal with the real communications, and only can handle things at a surface level. We are constantly influenced by the images created by "others" and overlooked our "own" value; and we are unconsciously affected by other's eyes, judgments, and the public favor. That’s why while Shuji says he likes himself when he is with Nobuta and Akira, we can totally understand how it feels like. In the end, why bullying is particularly harsh in Japanese school, or why the village or group mentality is particularly strong in Japan? Most people think that is because there are many people live in a limited living space. And Japan is not a racial composite place and that they are pretty much all belong to the middle class and use the same language only in one nation. In this kind of community or organization where similar kinds of people breathe and
live right next to each other, the ironclad organizational rule is to go along with trends or common knowledge of the group. The flip side of all this is the fact that there is a potential for Japanese to be extremely exclusive in being so. (I am not sure?!
 ) In the end of the end(blablabla....
 ), something about Tokyo from the drama, so many trends and things get obsolete so fact, and there are whirlpools of information, that might easily guide you to get lost what to choose, what to put value. 大停電I couldn't image how did i find strength to get through last tough weekend. the worst ever power cut hitted our campus, and it had already been the second time this winter.
the power cut last for two days and two nights! weather forecast said it was the coldest winter in 53 years in Chongqing! In such the gloomy and cold night, there's no power supply, no AC or heater....
 ~~~No one answered for this problem and solved it.... what in damn hell was it mean?!~~...Did they really want someone to die of cold?!~~HATE IT!!!TanX GOD, the problem was finally resolved this morning, and we can have a warm and shining day. Space Flight China launched the second manned space ship yesterday. almost all Chinese people watched the launch of two astronauts on live television. and the whole country exulted at the Shenzhou VI capsule's successful space flight.
As we all known, throught this costly space program the government wanted to win the respect abroad and get the public support at home. it was an excellent chance to show the rising power with technology to match the economic growth of china. and some people also thought it was arosed the patriotic pride of Chinese, which will help to "shore up their standing amid wrenching economic change and public anger at corruption and a growing gap between rich and poor."(Yahoo)
China has started a rocketry program since the 150s and firstly launched the satellite into orbit in 1970. and in the past years, China regularly launched satellites for foreign clients every year. Now China become the third country which can put a man in space after Russia and America. therefore, some people think it will ignite a new Cold War-style space race(CNN). Even though these launch things haven't happened in China, the whole world has already been in a new era of space exploration. Many countries included Rassia, America, China, Japan and India have already had their full and clear plan about utilizing the outer space. And the aerospace science has also made significantly progress at very fast speed these years. how to "peaceful use of outer space" is dependent on the people, the governments and the public, not the areospace science itself.
I don't wanna say sorry..I got a little drunk tonight, a little faint and headache. this time is not funny at all...i should not go out today. coz i'm still struggling with my cold fever and cought.the only thing I should do in this holiday is stay home and have a rest...

The mid-autumn festival is coming, like the Thankgiving Day in west, Mid-autumn is the day for the family be together. I get some informs from my dear mam and dad.. they are such great parents,...and it make me missing them very much.
I must say, parents or the whole family always stand by you and be your side... Every time you turn back for help, they are here...Evey time you smile, you laugh, you enjoy your life, you makes their dreams come true....
I do really appreciate my whole family to be here for me all the time. I love them so much! Chinese Valentine's Day(七夕节)Today is the Chinese Valentine's Day(Qi Qiao or Qi Xi), which is on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Chinese calendar.
The love story of this day is about an orphaned cowherd (cowboy? ^_^) and a fairy girl, who was the 7th daughter of Emperor of Heaven.
According to the story, when you look up in the sky on this night, you can see the Vega Star (Weaving Maid) crossing the Milky Way (magpie's bridge) to meet the Altair Star (Cowherd). Actually, the distance between the Vega and the Altair is around 16 light years. Of course they cannot meet in the sky. BTW, Vega is the 5th brightest star in the sky, and is located within the the Lyra constellation (Lyre or Harp, which I nicknamed after). And it is also very difficult to see a magpie now.
Anyway, this day is about all the good things, the love, the beauty, and the happy. You can pray for your love or ask your luck of love on this day!
 short-term memory lossI'm first aware of the short-term memory loss is because of the movie "50 first dates". In this movie, Lucy(Drew Barrymore) was fine with her long-term memory but lost her short-term memory. it looks like some so-called Groundhog Day effect. she went to sleep and forget the day's things overnight. the most typical case was the "ten-second Tom", who repeatedly introduced himself to others, just because he can only remember the events happened in the past ten seconds.
Short-term memory loss sometimes is referred to as "anterograde amensia" referring to that the lost memories are from after the trauma, not before it. Someone without short-term memory never remembers things in the first place. She (or he) lives in a state of ongoing disorientation, unable to follow a conversation, or engage in anything that requires paying attention.
Actually we’ve all lost our train of thought, forgetting what we were going to say, or what we'd just been talking about, because of a distraction. That's what short-term memory loss is like... but all the time.
We occasionally walk into a room and forget why we are there; frequently misplace our glasses, keys or pens; often arrive at a specific destination, like the gym, only to discover that we've forgotten an essential item, such as the gym bag, workout shoes or swimsuit… We do things like turn off the house lights, lock the door or unplug the iron, then have difficulty recalling if we did it and feel the need to go back and check; we look up a phone number, then forget it too soon to dial it; or we tell people we'll call them back, but then forget to do so…..
Memory loss could be due to some disease including Alzheimer's disease, depression, chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia; or be age-related, memory retrieval slows down as we get older, but this doesn't mean the memories aren't still there, may just need to work harder to remember them. The problem also could be common problems like hormonal fluctuations, stress, an inadequate diet, low blood sugar or not enough exercise.
I did this research since I tend to forget things a little more than I should.
No pressure, No pressure! about the cotton fiberI read the book [cotton fiber] today, which edited by Dr. Basra. I just found that what I'm doing is so non-sense....it..just my work doesn't make any sense to the cotton breeding or the cotton fiber improving.. especially the patent i'm writing in hand. the more I read, the more work should be done, and that is totally out of my control.
I feel so low...
I'd have a good thinking of it.. working like a dog~~~I have send all the figures to my boss today. I worked day and night to finish this project last weekend......aha, it's really like our always saying "working like a dog~~~"
unfortunately, one of them was rejected, 'caurse it couldn't show the specificity of the promoter exactly. I have already stainned all the 27 transgenic lines, the results of all my GUS stainning samples are so faint, and none of them is good enough to elucidate the espression pattern of that seed coad special promoter we used here. maybe i need some new transgenic events. or i can try to use the T1 seeds of other guy's.
i also need to design some new strategies for my "35S enhancer " program. the more two or three constructs are needed, and they are should be transferred into tobacco at least. i have to discuss it with my boss.
on the other hand, my cotton is ready for SEM observation. untill now, i never do any SEM work by myself. i need to be familiar with the protocol and operation....

Monica said: "Welcome to the real world! It sucks. You're gonna love it! ".....it's one of the most emblematic scenes of this show. Mon just summed up the feeling of the real world, and such is life......
I used this quotes here, because I'm also trying to wean myself from sth and back to the real world...I do really know that there's sth you can never escape, you have to face it, deal with it, and get over it...

I can keep writing my Chinese diaries in YCUL... and try writing some diaries in foreign languages here! oh~~ , yeh~~ Perfect. how could I forget?... Since I have to write papers in English and I also want to learn Japanese, I can use this place for study and practice. ...Doing my paper work here; talking about opinions in my research field here; discussing problems in my language study here, and sharing tips & tricks with others here......
